Buying a Sel

Recently I've found a few '85 500 Sel cars for sale in my area. I wanted this car since as long as I can remember but, first, I need to ask you some questions:
1. What should I be looking for in these cars?
2. What would be some common faults or problems I should keep and eye for?
3. How reliable is the overall structure of the car and where are it's weak spots - more exposed to rust?
4. Finally, from your experience, how was it to own such a monster?
