Symptoms of the Dreaded Intake Manifold Gasket Leak?
Car thats being a punk is a '75 450SL (D-Jet).
I was wondering if anyone could throw out the symptoms (general & specific) of an Intake Manifold Gasket Leak? I'm trying to track down a bad idle and have ruled many things out & would like to rule that out as well. Thanks!

Idles rough, but not with a rythmic miss (like a single cylinder). May backfire on acceleration when cold. Less than 15" vacuum when measured at hot idle.
