I am about to change out the timing chain on my 72 450 SL.
I ordered a chain, tensioner, and the two top rails but they told me there was a note that said the new rails were different and all should be changed. Does anyone know anything about this?
Thanks,
Jerryb

I opened it up and everything was so good I am only going to change the tensioner, the chain shows 0 stretch and the rails show no wear after 135k.
