420sl

THis a hard model to find info on. I just bought a 1987 420SL. Loved it for the euro look. Have spent about 30 hrs on internet, most luck has been from europe. I will get you a Russian website to research by vin #. Also try www.Benzworld.org .

Start by checking for vacuum leaks, especially the vacuum line that runs to the transmission modulator.

Echo the same, if you've already checked the tranny fluid and found it at the correct level. IIRC, there's also a filter in the tranny that needs occasional changing.

Cool car--there can't be more than a handful of those in the US! Pix on the BB?
