My SL600 ride seems loose. Is it possible to replace the springs or any recommendations on smoothing the ride? The car is 6 years old, rides on 17" wheels and has 70k miles.

Loose sl600
First lift it up and check visually for broken/damaged rubber bushings and sway bar links.
These things are awsomely solid when right, and looseness is not common. Shocks do not deteriorate. 'Air cells' will get hard over time, and rubber bushings will crumble occasionally, but not often. |
