Have at it. That's one of the best examples I've seen in a while, and at a good price, to boot. i'd grab it, if you like it, and have it in your budget.

Looks great

Hi

Looks like a great motor - It seems to be the "facelift" model (1986 - 89) so it will have most of the problems that exist on the earlier versions of the 107 sorted and the larger wheels, air dam and uprated suspension etc.

At offers around $12.9k (£7k) it looks to be a good deal but it's well worth checking for past accident records etc, though with a Dealer service it should be straight.

The one other thing that determines the price seems to be the mileage (look at earlier posts on the forum) and that is not mentioned so it could be a 150k mile car! then it's perhaps not such a bargain perhaps, thogh the 560 engine is good for 500k miles if it's looked after properly.

Try it out and see if you like the feel - that's the main thing with cars, they are not "sports cars but cruisers , some people love to drive them and some ( my eldest son for instance) hates it!! ( I'm working on him)

Cheers

Jim

If the car is located in Kelowna, B.C ( which is in Canada) why do all the pics show California plates?

Would you bid on this 560sl?

^^^^More information on the same car in a parallel thread started by the same person. (from posts #20, et seq.)

Discussion about the California plates on it also. It was evidently brought up from Southern California not long ago

I recently looked at a 560SL, in NorthCarolina. The car a had California plat on the front, because the owner thought it looked cool. Even though the car had never actually left town...LOL Silly idea, if you ask me.
