Unhappy SL560 Engine dies

Just bought the most beautiful 1988 560 SL imported from California. Looks like new, but after a few days driving it, the engine just suddenly dies. It will need 5 to 10 mins and then I can start it again, half hour later, same problem.

Anyone any idea what the cause / solution can be?

Remco
