Hi,
I am looking for the dimensions of the front brake disc (rotor) for early 04/72 350SL. Can not find it anywhere.

Thanks Deltacom,
This is the disc (22mm) I have on the car now. The problem is that with the 14.5mm wide pads, the disc seems too wide. Pistons fully back in overhauled calipers. The catalogs list either the size you recommended or leave it blank. Some of them states the early, first 9600 or so cars need a different disc, but they do not say what size. The pads are not the common 90mm long, but the shorter version.

Hi,
Thanks for everybody, especially to Deltacom. Problem solved. The wrong caliper was fitted. Nice to know that if you have a problem you can rely on this forum.
Happy New Year to all the MB guys.

Just FYI the right caliper for your 350 107 is part number A0024215698 (ATE) FRONT LEFT as per pics

I also found that the MB brake pads seem a little thicker than the ATE pads.
