fuel canister
Ok the canister beside the radiator that has the vacum switch hooked to it ,has a hose that i believe goes to the fuel tank , is this correct? and what is the purpose of the canister and the vacum switch? what happens if you remove the canister and the switch and plug the vacum port and leave the hose from tank just vented?? The charcoal cannister? It is part of the overall emissions system on the car.
It basically takes the excess fuel tank pressure and sends it to be combusted. Before the charcoal cannister......the tank just vented to the atmosphere.
