Thanks for the quick response, I was looking to find SL owners in the Illinois area that might be interested in attending car shows or events. I have a 1973 450 SL and a 1998 SL 500, I attended some car shows last year and found that I was the only Mercedes there. I have been able to make some other local contacts through the Mercedes SL car club that I started on Facebook so it looks like I'll have some company this year.

Are you interested in attending any car shows this year with fellow SL owners?

Call the local section, they are very active.
