Body Part Needed
Phil Here. I know I am on the wrong forum for this needed body part for my Sweet 500 SL but my friends will understand!
I need a Plastic door molding #A1296900440 , Passenger side. My original molding has a slight wave in it and my Body people say it can not be successfully be repaired to my satisfaction. I have found this part cheap and in abundance on German Ebay but the shipping is prohibitive . I am in the process of repainting the lower half of the older SL to update to the mono color of the newer , See what you guys can dig up for me and try to keep it cheap............ Plastic Door Moulding?
Is the moulding the "door cladding" used to absorb other folks car doors? I have some cladding for the passengerside from a '97 SL I picked up last week. I'll have to check if I have this part, confirm its the lower door plastic, Steve I also know other parts cars out there if that will help you. 216-403-7074 fazekas@baxter.com
