ABS warning light when cornering
I just resolved a problem with my 560SL brake light warning system by cleaning the contacts in the 3rd brake light. That "alarm" is resolved. Now, the ABS light will come on when I take a hard left turn. It does not, or at least so far has not, come on during braking or for any other activity. Any hints for this one?

I would suggest a loose or dirty sensor. Although, how long has it been since the brake system has been checked and flushed?
Just an idea or two. Only from theory and hearsay, and not experience. Scott

Thanks
The brake sysem was flushed 3 years ago. I guess I'd need to find the sensor, and possibly remove. clean, and replace it. I'll do that.

Bemz recommends flushing the system every 2 years. If you purchase or make a pressure bleeder, it turns it into an easy job. Good fluid is less than $10.00 a quart, and a pressure bleeder can be purchased for $50.00 to $70.00, or made for about $30.00.
Just be careful of brake fluid, it is very hard on paint. Good Luck, Scott
