1973 450SL starts on Cold Valve Squirt then stalls

Ive got a 1974 450SL and I do enjoy working on it myself. Simple things like replacing parts and oil changes. Etc. I don’t have the tools to do major jobs. But I changed fuel hoses on the car and the one to tue cold start valve had a thing tiny filter screen inside. I accidentally broke it and need a new one. I have looked at entirely new start valves and they’re $400-500 and they don’t look like they have the filter with them. I cannot find it. Does anyone know the whereabouts of this part?

Here is what it looks like. My cold start valve is leaking at the plastic base where it meets the metal… can this be repaired or do I have to buy another one?

is that the internals, I have never seen a CSV look like that
