280SL transmission service

How often should I have the transmission serviced ( oil filter etc.) on my 85 280SL with the 110 engine and 722-306 trans? What is the best trans oil/filter for it and any other suggestions/recommendations are appreciated...
Desert

Every 30,000 miles, I'd just get whatever MB sells for the filter, pan gasket, and the seal for the trans pan and also the torque converter. You can use any name brand DexronIII/Mercon.

Thanks for the info. without getting under the car ( it's 104 in our garage today, Tucson) or putting it on a lift can anyone confirm that the 722-306 is a six bolt large case trans ? Thanks Desert
