'90 300SL constant door buzzer?

Any tips on how to solve the mystery of why door buzzer is constantly on? It's been this way since I got the car a few months ago. I've resorted to using a metal clip that I made to keep the door switch plunger depressed to keep the buzzer from going off.

It buzzes even if I don't have a key in the ignition and my headlight and parking lamps are turned off.
