Wiper blade insert replacements.

I have a 1983 500 SL. I need to replace the inserts of the wiperblades. I see that pelican list many options for the replacement insert. I'm kind of confused. I just want to run the original style silver blade so what insert would be comparable? Thanks Nick

According to the Mercedes EPC, if your car is a 500SL built before 09/85 with body type 107.046 with the original style blade, the part number for the wiper blade refill is 000 824 14 27. That number is for one refill only, so you would need two. Just plug that number into the search box. Pelican Parts likely has different brands at different prices.

I've gone to the local parts store and bought cheap wipers, ripped out the rubber part, inserted it between the important metal guides that are inserted into the old rubber being removed, and been happy with the quick results. Maybe not MB quality, but cheaper and faster than ordering.
