Thumbs up Sold my '95 E320 W124 -- selling all new spare parts cheap

Hi all,

Sold our '95 E320 a few months ago. I have a bunch of new parts that I no longer need, that I am selling at approximately 75% of what I paid. For the genuine MB/OEM parts, much lower than that.

1) Air filter - MB OEM in box -- $15
2) 1 liter of brake fluid, SL brand in the greenish can/yellow top - $7
3) (2) MB OEM climate control buttons (up and down arrows button / EC button) - $5 pair
4) Flex disc and attaching hardware - $65
5) Pack of fuses - $2
6) Head bolt washers --- didn't use these when I did a head gasket replacement -- $10
7) Ignition switch - $20
8) (5) Bosch oil filters #72194 - $25
9) oil pan gasket - MB OEM in packaging -- $20
10) OVP overload protection relay - $60
11) 1 liter of power steering fluid (febi in the blue bottle) - $5
12) power steering pump filter - $3
13) serpentine belt tension rod -- gold piece that attaches to the back of the tensioner - $15
14) valve cover bolt grommets - $8 for the set
15) valve cover gasket set - $30
16) valve cover gasket set - $30

(used) ignition switch -- I believe this is good -- free with lot

Parts total $320.

If you buy the lot, I will ship FED ex air $300.00

I have images of all these. Feel free to contact me at 71Rcode@verizon.net

Many thanks.

You sold your beloved E320?

What did you purchase in its place?

Hey Paul,

Man, kicking myself for not making a *formal announcement*

Well, we did a dual swap. I sold my Volvo 945T and bought a '96 960 wagon. I sold my wife's E320 and bought her a .... ok ..... don't kill me guys .... new '06 Accord EX-L.

I JUST had to simplify my life -- and have one less car to maintain. The Honda was the simplifying factor. And, YES, my wife totally misses her E320. There is just no comparison to the two cars.

The plan is, she'll drive the accord for a few years, and then I'll get it. And then my son, now six, will get it in 10 years for high school/college. Thanks for the note. Hope all is well with your wife and girls.

Chris

Hey, I'd miss the E320, too, but the 960 wagon is a nice car, and I am particularly fond of the Honda Accord with the V6.

In fact, if I had to spend my own hard earned money on a brand new car, I would buy just that.

If you don't mind my asking, what did you sell the E320 for?

Ah --- I want to say $9k -- that or $8k.

It was a great car, as I'd done just about everything imaginable to it (preventative maintenence). But I just needed to make the change.

Yes, the 960s are great. This one has a third row seat -- the boys love that.

I can't believe you sold it after all that! We had just gotten it running great. Really, I understand. Same story with my 1987 wagon. Better car than the 210 that replaced it, but free time is more important.

I can take a few of the maintenance parts off your hands, if you are willing to break up the lot.

Hey Jim,

I'd be glad to sell you what you wanted. No problem!

Just send me an e-mail at 71Rcode@verizon.net, and we'll work out the details. Chris
