1983 300sd w126 parts/whole
Ok, the list of needed repairs has gotten to high for me to consider this fixable. It currently needs a starter solinoid(working on this right now,) primer pump, and thermostat(both of which are awaiting arrival from peachparts) After this, there is rust that needs taken care of mainly in the rocker areas. The motor runs incredibly well, even with the leaky primer pump loosing its prime over night, it starts up in the cold with only a light touch to the pedal for a few seconds, and before the primer started leaking it never hesitated to start. Also the interior is not so good from the front seat forward, but everything is fair game.
Now my rules are that I will not sell anything that makes it "undriveable" until the engine is sold. I want the buyer to be able to test drive it, and see how much power she has. Also if you would like to perform a compression test, you are more than welcome to do so. Lastely I would perfer that the buyer of the engine to pull it themselves, my shop, tools, and forklift are available for this. I may be willing to work something out to pull it my self, but it depends what I get out of it. http://s639.photobucket.com/albums/uu113/1977busman/1983%20300sd%20for%20sale/ Every thing is make offer at this point, and the only price I will set is $1400 for the whole car. call, email, pm, or reply to this post. 740-601-1411 zwgriswold@yahoo.com
