WTB 240D Manual transmission

My "82 manual tranny failed catastrophically yesterday. after only 190 K miles. Would like a used low mile unit. I live in WY. I gues rebuilding is out of the question? Ditto finding a rebuild in the US?

Hi Gary.Could you send me details on your tranny? What re the numbers on yours on the right side of the case. Ideas on condition? They are light and small enough to fit in a padded heavy cardboard box that could go fedex or ups. We used to live in your town . my dad was at Seymour Johnson. 3072032109 or 307699-2254. In 2016 I was able to buy parts to rebuild mine from the dealer. It's probably one of the simplest manual transmissions around, especially by todays standards. You really only need a quality set of snap ring pliers and a set of brass drifts to rebuild.

I put 50k on it since the rebuild with no issues.
