Parting out: W126 and W124's UPDATE #2

Hey guys, I have some cars to get rid of and want to offer parts up to members of the forum. I need to get rid of them, im likely to be moving in the not to distant future and probably won't have the room for spare cars anymore so I want everyone to get the most from them!

82' 300SD, this one is pretty much complete but some of it is pretty tired. Has the KKK turbo on it & in great shape.

93' 300TE 4matic, This one is mostly complete minus RF fender, hood, bumpers, body cladding. Ran really good till it started intermittently stalling (CIS or spark issue)

89' 300E, mostly a shell but still has some good parts.

OM617 turbo engine, bought it for spare parts, sold as it wouldn't start so the owner replaced it, I don't know if or what is wrong with it but still has good parts. (turbo, injectors, inj lines gone)

UPDATES: Also have available, OM603 Turbocharger, EGR valve, crossover pipe, MAF, airbox.

Also have an OM603 Euro N/A intake manifold (no airbox) Perfect for someone that wants to weld a plenum tube/box for a performance intake

BMW M52TU/M54 engine/parts available too.

I am reserving some W124 parts as spares for my daily driver and am updating some things off those cars but duplicates and a lot of other parts are for sale. By all means ask and I will check on stuff for you!

Thanks!

How much for a driver side steering knuckle with good spindle for a 1993 W124 ? Are hubs the same for the 4 matic ? I'd be interested in the complete hubs and steering knuckles.

I'll have to go look for you and see if the 300E has them still and check on condition. The 4matic stuff is way different. The 300E is a few miles from my house at another location, I can check tomorrow for you.

Should we assume you live in Malibu? No mention anywhere.

I would love Malibu weather to work in but unfortunately not, I live a little ways away from Wichita, KS.

Deciphering my screen name: I drag raced a 79' Malibu wagon with a small block chevy. Small Blocks = mouse motor and Big Blocks are Rat motors in old school hot rodder terminology So hence my screen name (mighty-mouse-malibu) In real life I go by Chris

Ok Pete, the whole drivers knuckle is intact and appears to be in good shape minus some surface rust and dirt. The car is an 89 but I don't think that matters. It still has a hub bearing installed. This car was wrecked but it was hit in the right front, left side is good. How about $50 with hub, dust shield, all that stuff included? I think I can get it in a Priority flat rate box for about $18.

I need the B pillar trim but I need mushroom color. My wagon is in excellent shape aside from the b pillars.

Could you send a picture of the back of the C pillar trim from the W124 sedan, please I need to replace mine, which is blue, but I can dye it. Just want to make sure the pillar mounts are the same as an '87 before I ask for a price.

Your needing the large interior pillar panels right? If so those have already been pillaged from the 89 300E. I do have the ones from my 87' which should be a direct fit. It is a red interior though.

Good morning, I have a 1986 SDL and would like a block heater. Do you have one? Would both cars take the same unit?

Thanks

Ron, I do have a couple of them. I need to test them to verify they are good and that means removing them to do so. I can't test them in their perspective locations. I will need to get a socket or wrench big enough to fit and hope they break loose. I actually have a brand spankin new OEM Mercedes block heater, still in the box. For the life of me, I can't find the damn thing! I'll get back in touch after I get one tested.

Hey Ron, I got my socket today and managed to get a block heater out and tested. I have one for you that works perfectly, its an OEM Mercedes element, the best kind, IMO. I got it cleaned up nice, it has some tool marks in the brass but it doesn't affect it in any way, threads are good and clean. I unfortunately don't have good cord though. The only spare I have is the one off the OM606 I just got and the salvage yard cut all the wires and lines including the block heater cord. If you want it, you can have it and make a repair to it with a heavy duty cord from a hardware store. My W124 is like that, works great.

I can have it shipped to where ever you are, Priority Mail for about $6 so how about $30 even and that includes shipping too.

I still have a brand new one floating around here somewhere, dang thing was like $115
