WANT TO BUY: FRONT END SECTION OF DRIVE SHAFT W123
Looking to buy the front end section (smaller section) from a W123 240D AUTOMATIC -- I believe it's the longest front end section out there. I have one source who might have it, and I should know by tomorrow, but it's a "maybe" so I am putting this out there. Must be in decent shape, and would appreciate pictures. I will measure the section I have to make sure the length is OK. I need it for the front section of the Getrag 717.400 mated to a four banger (going to get it machined down to the correct size).
Please PM. This should be a pretty common part as there are / were many 240D with automatic trannies ... I have one but I cannot chop it up yet ...

Here are some snappies. I measured from the very end where the bearing is to the other end. The collar nut is threaded on to the point where it's flush with the very end of the driveshaft. Looks like 22".
So, I would need a section which is longer than 22" The pictured DS section is the correct DS section for the five speed Getrag 717.400 to be mated to the 4 cylinder 240D.

Just Wasted $41 dollars with Anthony Electric
Bump ...
It was represented to me that the DS I would be receiving was 23.25 inches long. Here are some pictures of it. NOT EVEN CLOSE. If anyone has this DS, please PM me. I just wasted $41.00 with AnthonyElectric ... Not happy.
