Parting 2x W124 Wagons. om603

Parting out two W124 wagons. One is an '87 om603 3L TD engine (bad #14 cyl head)

- I have two complete parts cylinder heads. So either purchase a "ready to run" unit or a bare casting and assemble your own.

- I picked up a mint blue dash pad as the one in this car has several cracks.

I've done a few other things but I can't think of them right now.

'92 gasser wagon in the same colour scheme inside/out. It's southern, or was. Still pretty clean. PO told me it ran but I never tested. IIRC he said he pulled the car from the road because the trans failed. I wasn't concerned with the drivetrain. The PO pulled some parts ie: headlights, taillights and dash pad but it's mostly there otherwise. Perfect parts car. Very nice body panels in OEM paint. Has factory roof rack bars too. I'm sure there's more.

Cars are located near Sarnia, ON Canada or about 15 minutes from Port Huron MI 48060

I still have the US reg on both as I imported them myself.

These pics were taken in the fall of 2010. The car doesn't look much different aside from the top end disassembly on the engine.

*** Please send parts requests.***

Why are you parting the diesel one? They are pretty rare, and it looks to be in decent shape.

Agreed. I'd like to see this car back on the road. I've lost interest in it. I've listed the car FS on several different venues very cheaply and haven't sold it. Parting it out is a better option IMHO than simply towing to the recycle yard to be crushed.

I agree parting is better than crushing. How much are you asking for it? I haven't seen it posted on the forum. How's the rust on it? How many miles?

The diesel wagon has been off the road for 10-12 years. A bit of rust at the leading edge of the rockers, as well as some inside the engine compartment on the right side - sheet metal. Floors, rockers etc are all remarkably solid. No cylinder head. No IP but otherwise complete.

You're quite close by CJ89- why not come have a look. I still have the US title for it.

Sold some items:

-complete om603 engine and auto trans
- 2x parts #14 cylinder heads
- spare turbo

Loads still available. I'm not looking to get rich on this stuff, just trying to save it from the crusher.
