tapatalk is a forum app...ive been using it almost exclusively to access this forum for idk, maybe 6-7 years?

i think it's more the low post count and redirect to the gmail account for parts. i recall first joining forums and they had a rule that you couldn't post in the classified section until you hit a post count of had so much time on the forum.
there are a few people here i buy from and all of them are people that have been here 10 years or so and have a rep.
i almost got jobbed on amazon the other day buying from a seller who just prints labels but never ships

Ah, apologies, I’ve just noticed all the scam accounts have the “iPhone for Tapatalk” auto generated line. I didn’t recall seeing it regularly before.

The problem with admins is in general that their bloated egos get involved and the perceived power over others becomes a tyrannical nightmare.
Case in point is Benzworld who has (at least) two nutcases thinking they are gods gift to earth and bully people.
Almost like the scenario of calling police for a welfare check on a mentally unstable friend or relative who end up killing that person to save us from them(-selves).

Which do you prefer ?

There's a big difference between a tiny man with a big stick thinking he's Napoleon and the existing admins on this forum just doing their damn job. The whole "For Sale/Wanted" section is literally overrun with scammers trying to rip people off (it's pretty obvious who they are), and the spammers who seem to get in every couple weeks or so offering fake passports, love potions, or witch-doctor conferences. I mean just doing basic cleaning of the trash and blocking them from the site is something you could train a chimpanzee to do. The bottom line is that the owners of the forum simply don't care.
