WTB - OM603 Inclined Injectors

Managed to get an inclined injection head but no injectors. I don't care what condition the nozzles are in as long as they are still able to be rebuilt.

Hopefully you can find what you are looking for, but if not, I believe you can use the old prechambers and injectors in a head intended for inclined injectors. You can also then re-use your metal injector lines without bending them.

If you do use your old prechambers don't forget to have them slightly shaved and budget in for new retaining rings. I think I would have 4 inclined injectors if you wanted but they are not easy to find unless you buy new.

Thanks for the tip. I might have to piece meal a set together. I was planning to get them rebuilt anyways. Can you PM me a price for the 4 you have?

These seem to be a bit rarer than I had thought. Does anyone know what year the factory switched over to the inclined head? Might start searching the junkyards.

1990 for the W126 with the 603, 1990 for the W124 with the 602 turbo, supposedly in 1987 for the 190D 2.5 turbo.


The 603's were used in 1990/91 350SD/SDL and they only made something like 3000-3500 of them TOTAL. They were also used in the W140 diesels, but they're also quite rare over here. Your best bet is probably the W124's with the 2.5 turbo. They're still available new, but you're looking at around $100+ each!
