WTB 86-90 W126 headlight doors.
Heres the deal
My daughters car a 86 300SDL had the headlight doors broken by a hail storm a couple of weeks ago. No other damage except the headlight doors, go figure. The car is not in the best shape. 275,000 miles tranny needs some work, starting to slip in 1st gear. And the #1 cylinder compression is about 17ATM. 21ATM on all the rest. Four years ago we replaced the car with the 99 E300 and I was going to get rid of the car. Wife suggested we keep it for the "new driver", my son. Wouldn't want him wrecking the new car. And 18 months later the "other new driver", my daughter. I have expected the car to "die" any day now for the last 4 years. Just can't kill it. I do fluids and filters and thats about it. I don't want her getting a ticket because of the broken headlight door. So I'm looking for a set of headlight doors for the car. I don't care what shape they are in as long as they are not broken. I'm not interested in new ones since I will be getting rid of the car this September when My daughter goes to college. Any one out there have a set of used Headlight doors For a 86-90 W126-- CHEAP?
