WTB: any 15" alloys for w123

My stock 14" bundt cakes are in bad shape cosmetically, so instead of spending the elbow grease to clean them up, I'm throwing out the bait for an upgrade.

I'm looking for any 15" alloy wheels to fit a w123 series car. They don't have to be bundt cakes or even original Benz. Anything aftermarket that fits is OK. My only sticking point is I don't want anything chromed.

What have you got?

Have got 4 stock alloys from my 1995 E320. Not sure of the application to your car. the pattern is b bolt with a 112 offset. They are 15 inch.

Thanks. But I'm not sure you're right about 112 offset. 112 mm is usually the bolt circle dimensions. Offset is the distance from the wheel hub inner face to the wheel centerline, and is usually stamped somewhere inside the wheel near the hub with the letters "ET" preceding it. Can you check that for me?

If you don't find that, the easiest way to approximate it is to measure backspacing: place a straight-edge across the back of the wheel, then measure from the inner hub surface of the wheel to the straight-edge.

How much do you want for these wheels and where are you located?

Thanks!

My apologies on the measurements. These are tthe correct specs:
15 x 6.5 wheel size
5 x 112 bolt pattern
40mm offset
66.56mm Hub bore
Rims are in Ct. and can be shipped from there. I have no Idea what theses are worth..perhaps $250 for the set?

I think there are some incompatibilities here.

If the wheels in Connecticute really are ET40, they probably will interfere with the tie rod ends on a W123 car unless they really are only 5 1/2" wide, but 5 1/2" inches seems unreasonably narrow for any car of such recent vintage, so I suspect that they are 6 1/2", minimum.

Fimum: That's what I was thinking, too, unfortunately.

Wagonpass, thanks very much for the offer and the info, but I don't think your wheels will fit my car.

I have a set of 15 inch stocks off my 1987 300E(I think they are known as "16 holes") I sold the car, and no longer need them. The tires(Fulda Assuro) have about 80%+ tread life left and have a lifetime warranty for free flat repair and balancing. the rims are balanced. Tires alone cost me over $500. I am in Miami,FL PM me an offer if you are interested.

ooh, ooh, me too =)

Dear Thread,
I am also looking for some alloy-anythings that will fit on my W123 (1982 240D). I am in Cincinnati OH and need to see them first. Tires are nice but not necessary by any means. I'll be looking at some local junkyards but not before next weekend (I'm at Nat'l guard summer camp 500 miles from home right now =)

My car currently has some serious bling on it (c/o the PO - 2004 chrome SLK rims...) that I would rather turn into cash. Once I have some suitable rims for the 240D, I'll be selling the bling and give a shout here first.

pm or email s6gro@yahoo.com

Jake, those 15s are sweet but out of my price range, especially considering the shipping distance involved. Angel, they're all yours if you want them.
