Any recourse to premature failure on tires?
Just curious to see what peoples thoughts are. I purchased a set of Michellin Pilot Sports last year from tirerack. They are now shot with belts showing through after about 24k of easy driving, mostly highway, no peeling or cornering.
This seems a bit low to me. Is there any recourse thru Michellin? Or am I just stuck with this? I know for sure I will not get Michellins again so at the very least they lost a future customer.

not reaaly ... there is no tread life warranty on the Pilot SPort and actually 24k is good for a performance tire like that

Thanks Luke, I just found out they were rated at 20k, so it is just normal wear and tear. I just ordered a set of the Pilot sport A/s and the rep said they would last me 35-40k, do you concur?
