560sel front wheels humming at 25mph and getting louder

the front wheels are humming at 25 mph and get louder to about 70 then really cannot tell. is this the front wheel bearings are a bad tire. i bought the car a few months ago so i don't have any maintence records. the tires look very new still have th little bumps on them.

Probably worn tires, and very likely dueto alignment. My alignment (toe) was out and wore my last set, and I hadthe same issue. Check alignment first, then proceed.

A bad bearing can cause a rumble or howl at those speeds. Even a little tiny flaw in the bearing race can make an amazing amount of noise, I found out.

If it sounds like you are driving on a steel grid bridge deck, it's wheel bearings.

Jack the car up and spin the front wheels. If its wheel bearings you should be able to hear them grinding away.
