Will these fit on a 116 ?

Does anyone ( BC?) know if these


Set of four 8-hole M-B alloy wheels, chromed. 7.5 inch width, 16 inch wheels, from a 140 chassis S-class, stamped 1994.


will fit properly on a '79 300SD ??

Rims from W140s will not be a straight swap to a W116.

I believe a 140 uses completely different size bolts to fit the rims.

Don't know the offset of the W116, but, it's likely to be similar to the W-126.........around 23.

The W-140's offset is much higher than this figure.

You'll definitely have some problems with them............like insufficient tie-rod clearance.
