96 S500c 18" Amg
I just got my AMG 5-SPOKE 18 X 8.5" Front 245/45/18
18 X 9" Rear 265/40/18 I love the way they look, but I fill like driving a go cart...... Question is what is the tallest tiers size I can install, specially on the rears? I am not interested in a sport handling more of a comfort driver. Plus my rear bolts now stick out, about 3" Thanks. |

a better question would be what tire pressure are you currently using ... many times ride quality issues come easily be corrected by a change in air pressure.

Don't low profile tires generally tend to make for a harder ride, Luke?

generally speaking yes but, in this instance we are talking about a tire that is 27" tall which would have a 4.5" sidewall. That much sidewall would not be excessively harsh ...
