switch: '01 S430 stock wheels to W-126
Here's the question:
My friend has the opportunity to purchase a set of stock wheels from an '01 S430 sedan (225/60/R16 tires) to put on his W126 sedan. Are any suspension modifications necessary? Are the studs proper and long enough or do they need spacers? Please advise. Thanks. |

check the offset, I think the 430 wheels are in the 40's while the 126 wheels are low to mid 20's. My guess is you would need hub centric spacers and longer bolts. Do a search for the various views on the use of spacers.
