switch: '01 S430 stock wheels to W-126
Here's the question:
My friend has the opportunity to purchase a set of stock wheels from an '01 S430 sedan (225/60/R16 tires) to put on his W126 sedan. Are any suspension modifications necessary? Are the studs proper and long enough or do they need spacers? Please advise. Thanks.

check the offset, I think the 430 wheels are in the 40's while the 126 wheels are low to mid 20's. My guess is you would need hub centric spacers and longer bolts. Do a search for the various views on the use of spacers.
