The MBZ bolt circle is 5 X 112. Audi/VW also uses the 5 X 112 on some models. Do they have the same on Center Hub size? Just curious. Thanks.

The question that you posed is rather interesting because most people do not do enough homework when considering wheels and you obviously have done quite abit. Although the late model Passat does have the same bolt pattern as your benz (5-112) the center bore and offset are not even remotely similar (benz 66.56 , vw 57.06)
Thanks for the question. I hope this info helped

I have seen some Audi A4s with Carlsson 1/5 18'' wheels. It looks clean. I guess they just change the hubcentric ring.

Tirerack sells Carlsson with Audi fitments. Luke, are they MBZ center hubs or Audi center hubs?

Luke, what is the size and offset of the 18 inch AMG SL 2 piece rim. What has to be done other than fender rolling to fit a 1998 W210 E430? Thanks.

The Offsets on the AMG 2-piece are et25 for both the 18x8.5 and 18x10. I think I real good fender job is all you need. If you figure that the 18x9 has an et35, add 1 inch plus 1 cm, and that how much more clearance you need. As for the wheel being too deep in (close to the brake side of the wheels arch) doesn't seem like a problem due to the fact that the offset helps undue the change in extra width.

FYI, Bekkers has a set of replicas of those wheels for much cheaper, but then again AMG or the real thing.

New Questions. I am looking at a wheel fitment chart with specifications. The wheel has bolt pattern of 5/112 and center size of 70.1. It also says type = base while some wheels the type = fix. What is type? Also, if MBZ uses center bore of 66.56 does this mean the 70.1 will not fit correctly. Thanks Tirerack.
