Wheels for my 300e

Hello Board, I have the opportunity of buying a set of 17x8.5 (AMG replica) rims for my car for $480. I test fitted them, but the front sticks out way too much(the rims -->et 35). Will using them become problems for my car later on?
Does anyone know where I can purchase 18 inch AMG monoblocks for my car for under $500?? I really do not care about the condition of the finish, all I want are amg monoblocks that are not cracked or bent ( I will be painting them to match the color of my car), can anyone help me?? WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THE COLOR I CHOSE FOR MY CAR??
Heres a pic of the 17x8.5 0n my car---> WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THE COLOR I CHOSE FOR MY CAR??

Very nice color, I love the blue. What do you mean by the tire sticks out?

Look at the bumper. The rim and tire are set too far out from my front bumper. The offset is 35, but the rims are 17x8.5.

well if you just lifted up the car and then put it down again, the car is going to ride a bit higher than normal.. you actually need to move the car foreward or backward to get it back to its normal ride height. That should take off a few inches. After that, you will still have a gap. You could always get bigger tires or lower the car. I would suggest lowering your car if you really want to fill that gap. I don't know much about 18s and 300Es though so maybe someone else could help you there.

The color looks good, but agree with you the tire is sticking out. I wouldn't want the tire to throw mud or rocks against the side of the car. You sure the offset is correct for this size wheel?

8.5 is a very very tricky width on a non-500e W124 especially in the front. 7.5 is the most I would go. There are some tuners that have rims of 8 for it.

This company http://www.wheelcollision.com/merc.htm has the Monobloc 18x8 for the W210 E55 that will probably fit better for $325 each.

Oops I just realised you said 17 and not 18 DOH! Sorry. So go for the CLK320 17X7.5 front monoblocks $275 they should fit.

Oh and I like the color!!

maximum wheel width that works well on a W124 is 7.5"

I put 16x8's on my 300E. They stick out a little too far, if I were to do it again, I'd go with 7.5's.
