Does anybody have a list of the offset on various MB factory wheels as a guide to interchangability?

In particular, I am interested in what other MB wheels will work on a W201. Do W124 wheels have the same offset? How aout C220 or C280 wheels?

Any help wil be appreciated.

I'm kinda in the same boat,

Wondering if you remember or measured the Offset (mm or ") on the 8 holes on your 400E

If I'm not mistaken they are 15x6.5 " rims?

Mike, the offset on the 400E 15x6.5" wheels is ET 44.

I don't have the offset specs on the 190 offhand so I can't really say for certain whether they are interchangeable with W124 wheels. I'm pretty sure that W202 (C-class) wheels will not work with W124's or vice versa as the offset is visually different. For specific "what fits with what" wheel applications call Tirerack. They should have such a database and be able to tell you anything wheel/tire realated you'd like to know.

I have a 190 2.3-16. The OE wheels are a 15X7 with an ET of 44 mm. Currently, I am running a TSW MB-1 that is a 15X7 and a 38 mm offset. The TSW wheels sit out a little than the OE wheels. I run the stock tire size of 205/55/15. Hope this helps,

i have a 190e2.6. The manual says the stock offset is 49mm, for a 15x6" wheel. I bought a set of 15x7" Borbet ReplicaII (like the 8-hole in the 190e Sportline or 400e), and the dealer asked me very specifically what model benz i had. Those Borbets had an offset of 36mm, which made them stick out approx 1 inch outwards per side (making the track 2" wider, front and back). The wheels look very good on the car, almost flush with the bodywork, but definitely engineered for proper suspension, steering and bodywork clearance (i must admit i was skeptical that it might not fit at first). And they look very stock benz.

As an aside, the Borbet ReplicaII looks very attractive, since it has a flat shiny surface extending to the lip of the wheel, giving the illusion that it is more than 15" (this, compared with the 8-hole of the C-class, which is of a deep-dish design). This makes it also easier to clean.

My only misgiving about this wheel is that it uses special-size bolts with cone-shaped seats. The stock wheels have ball-type seats. Since my spare tire uses the stock wheel, i have to remember to have the ball-type bolts of the spare with me everytime.

Also, the Borbet bolts are of a different size from stock or anything on the market, and i have yet to find a wheel lock for this Borbet model (maybe someone can help me here). Not even McGard has one this size.
Not even TireRack was able to help me on this, either.

Peraps a tuner such as Brabus may be able to steer you in the right direction. Since they offer many very nice and very expensive wheels they might be able to sell you the locks or point you in the right direction.

I have a W124 and I had an exprience with 190 wheels. They will work as long as they are at leats 16"s. The 15"s 190 wheels will rub your calipers, though anything bigger than a 15" will work. The offset looks a little goofy though. I didnt buy the wheels because I didnt want a matchbox car, and the wheels were only 400 with tires. Half of it was because they were Lorinsers, and that seems a little cheap, so i was careful and did buy them. But yeah, it works.
