Cooper Tire and Rubber

Hey guys,

I just bought some Hercules MRX Plus IV whitewall tires for my old diesel. The guy managed to squeeze 205/75/14s onto the stock rim, which previously had 185/75s on it. I love the new ride. A little higher, super smooth, no pulls ... just great.

But since I got them on impulse, I didnt do any research. I now found out they are a Cooper tire. Coopers, as I understand, are just about the crappiest tire you can buy. I paid $50 each for these, and I was told they were very good, reliable tires. But now I heard about a class action suit against cooper for blowouts!

What are your thoughts and opinions on Cooper tires?

I've got them on my old pickup and they seem to be fine. It took a lot of weight to balance them out but they ride quiet and are good in the rain. I know they can handle lots of weight because I'm always overloading my old truck!!

As far as any background knowledge on them I don't have.

Naughty, naughty.
You are not overloaded, unless you can see daylight between the front tires & the road.
