81 126 300SD Wheel size/offset Confusion

Hello All,
After much searching I thought I had a handle on offset/sizing but I guess not
My 81300sd has Centra style wheels on it now,1 bad
that it needs replaced,Problem being only Ronal, and Performance Parts carry the wheel and it's chrome,I want polished for $300+ .Here is my Dilema
The Centra's Are sized @
7Jx15H2
ET 23
Tires 205/65/15

The Extra set of original Bundts,I have are in awful condition and are sized @
6JX14H2
ET 30

Does the offset change w/ wheel diam.?
Say I want to Run 15,16,17,or18 inch wheels,Does the offset required to mount w/out spacers change w/ diam.& width??I cant afford new so I have been shopping for take offs,Can someone please fill me in on what rims from which cars will fit my 126,81300sd???PLEASE!!!!! Chrome or alloy...

I found a brand new set of 18s w/ 500mi. for $450 off of an S or CLK sized @
8.5J X 18 H2
ET 35,
W/ 225/40/18 tires
The owner says they will fit,but just from looking I cant see how,I hadn't found a post to help me out so I thought I would ask you guys.I just can't afford the money some shops are asking,I would love to but cant make it happen .Any help would be great.Im in Arizona
