new 225-50-16 tires (less than 2000 miles on them), mounted on 16 inch polished rims, new windshield, new exhaust, projector beam headlights, new fog lights, new headlight doors, new ignition, new mono valve, new Blaupunkt cd, new receiver drier, switched to R134A...needs new ac compressor and engines making a nailing sound..may need wrist pin and mechanic told me that could be major service and be better getting a used engine to put in. I have sunk over 10k in this car over 3 years and am tired. 3000 firm

Where is the car located?

Is the engine problem such that I ccould not drive to transport it?

I have put about 2000 miles on it in its present condition. I would not hesitate to drive it but if it were me driving it say 1200 miles, I personally would want to do it with ac ...but thats just me. I drive it to see my parents once a week and they live 60 miles north of me so it gets 120 miles a week on the highway and the tint is dark so with the fan on the air temp is ok coming out of the vents even tho its not ac.
