What's wrong with 1993 500E's?

You might also post over on www.500E.com

You want bone stock or a modified one?

I know of pefect all black 94' in PA., stock....he's asking more than its book value as its kinda rare all 040 black and was pro-athlete owned. I think he also has a dark grey 92' that needs some work for much less than book value. It may in CarTrader or one of those sites.

I think this coming spring the market will be flush with many E500Es also .

the other car was the car needs a lot of work. about $5000 worth.

If you are flexible about color I'll be selling my '92 with 141K soon. Previously a south Georgia or Florida car. Famous race car driver previous owner. Over $7,000 of upgrades including RennTech chip, RennTech carbon fiber air cleaner, RennTech stainless exhaust and genuine Mercedes Evo wheels with like new Bridgestone Potenza 265/40ZR17’s all around. All the service records from day one with 99% at Mercedes dealers. Over $17,000 of recent service, repairs and maintenance including all the big issues these models have such as evaporator core, wiring harness, gas actuator, transmission and engine mounts, radiator, belt tensioner, etc.

I'll be pricing mine in the range of this one that didn't sell on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4606860591&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Mine has a little more miles but also has a lot more stuff, all the service records, tons of recent service, and a famous previous owner.

If you interested in selling some of those parts, send me a PM, you probably would get more for your vehicle stock then with high performance modifications on it.

When I first viewed the car in pictures before buying it, I thought of changing the Evos back to stock but when I saw it in person, I decided I had to keep them. The Renntech parts are quite subtle and most buyers would keep them on the car, I think.
