88 300te for sale $2,475

price reduced. to 2,975

this is my son's car. 187,000 miles. desert sand/ palamino. excellent rust free body except superficial around jack points which are believed to be solid. excellent interior. sls works well. car starts runs and drives very well except erratic tranny. good michelin pilot tires. drivers window and sunroof work well. tailgate shocks shot. ac works very well. he has bought another (argh a volkswagen) car and doesnt need any more. asking $2,975. his number is 765 532 5830. he will post pictures at picturetrail.com under ctwalgamuth. his name is andrew walgamuth. car belonged to my son in law since about 90k before andrew.

sorry, the pics arent posted yet. today we dropped it off at our indy to have the tranny fluid and filer changed again. the other two times he changed it himself and didnt do the torque converter so maybe this will help. he reports that if he doesnt lift the gas it will flare pretty much on every shift.

andy in kankakee ill

i just got your message today. ??? cell phones!

you didnt leave any phone number. the wagon is still available. it is a nice car with a sound engine and interior. the body has minor rust in the rocker sheet metal around the jack points but other than that looks very good.

the engine runs very well. the tranny shifts funny. my son's car. he had the tranny fluid and filter changed recently, the first time that has been done in which the torque converter was drained. i think there is a good chance that that will help a lot.

i know he is interested in selling it. it is sitting in front of my house, so i suggest you come take a look. with a little tlc you will have a very nice wagon.

update:
andrew and i drove the car around yesterday to charge up the battery etc.

after the full fluid and filter including the torque converter the tranny is shifting as designed.

this is a nice car that has a lot of issues because my son had not money to keep up the repairs. windows, lift hatch struts, etc. it has a good sound suspension body engine and interior. it will make a very nice car for someone who has the skill and money to chase down all the niggling things.

and he is motivatied. any reasonable offer will prob buy it.
