FS: 1985 300CD-T, *Price lowered to $3900!
Due to current financial situation, I need to sell my 123 Turbodiesel Coupe.
384k miles. Driven daily 50 miles roundtrip. Engine starts & shuts off good. Does not burn oil. Car has an interesting history, was picked up new at the factory in Germany while original owner was stationed there back in '85. Had it shipped to the U.S. at the end of his tour. Car comes with folder full of reciepts & records. A/C- installed new A/C compressor, receiver drier tank & new A/C belt Aug. '07. A/C blows cold, Has been converted to R134A. Has good Michelin tires with approx. 50-60% tread. Excellent exterior- Quality paint job approx. 4 or 5 yrs. ago in rare original metallic brown. Interior mostly good condition- Needs rear seat backrest recovered, leather is cracked & split on top from sun damage. Driver's seat has quarter size hole worn in left backrest bolster- have quote of $95 to repair if interested. Both front seats were recovered a few years back. Wood trim has been refinished approx. 4 or 5 yrs. ago. Vanity mirrors missing from both sunvisors. Known problems- Has vibration from rear of car while driving, possible driveshaft center support bearing. Left rear brake caliper needs repl./rebuild. Window regulator for left quarter glass binds going down, will go down with help. Vacuum lines under hood & rf seat need attention, prior owner plugged off/disconnected a couple lines. Currently working on these issues as time permits. Car is in Georgia & can be seen in Powder Springs or in Sandy Springs. (Northwest / North side of Atlanta). Asking price is $3900. Come check it out and drive it home!. I have a clear Georgia title in hand. Car will not be shipped to any foreign countries. Acceptable form of payment is CASH, CASH, or CASH- your choice. Call or email, whichever you prefer. (770) 365-0221, or statz@bellsouth.net Please pass this on to anyone who may be interested. Thanks everyone, Craig. Thanks Crabuki for the link. Please note the price has been lowered to $4900. & is negotiable. I need to sell this car quickly, as dictated by my bank account! As compared to other 123's of the same vintage, I'm realizing that the int. & ext. condition of my car is quite remarkable- not showroom new condition, but very good for it's age. If I still have the car on Oct. 13, it will be in the RBM of Atlanta Oktoberfest Concours show. Check out the promo link: http://rbmmb.com/index.cfm?action=dealerlink&Link=1288543

Beautiful. I sometimes wish I'd gone for a 300CD Turbo instead of my 240D Sedan (but not often.)
