My wife and daughter are relieved. Its a good thing you came up right away as I was still thinking about it last Monday night. Really hurts to have a CA car only about 6 miles from my house and have to let it go, but I've got my 240D and Rabbit in my neighbors garage while they are in Florida, a 300TD parts car in the backyard, my bus, the civic, and I'm installing a furnace in the garage right now to burn WVO. There are projects everywhere I look so posting that car on here was the right thing to do. Granted I could have made money, but this is one time I made a physical contribution to mercedesshop. Merry Christmas and keep us posted on how it goes. Let us all know if that is a factory rebuilt motor.
Here are some hints for figuring that out How do you tell if an engine is a factory rebuild?
