Hi. For sale is a 1983 Mercedes 300sd turbo diesel
This car was a daily-driver until I bought a truck for work.
It has been sitting for the last 6 months or so but started a couple times a month and driven around the block.
It runs very good. Has almost no rust. Never been in an accident. Clean. I have almost all maintenance and repair paperwork.
It does need some minor work like ball joints or front shocks and maybe a new starter. The AC works fine and blows cold.
Ideally I’d like to sell in the next few days. Id like $2000 but all offers and/or trades will be considered. I’d be very interested in a motorcycle trade.

re color and rims: thanks. the rims are italian. basically identical to the mercedes ones but 6 times cheaper.

This car has been for sale for a little over a week and I have gotten lots of emails, a few visits, but no who seems very serious.

The car runs very good. Has almost no rust. Never been in an accident. Clear title. Clean. I have all maintenance and repair paperwork. AC works, etc.

It does not need any immediate work. There might be a starter or soleoid needed down the road, but the car has started on the first time for the last 15 times. It does not need any suspension related work as I detailed in my last posting. There is nothing wrong with the ball joints or tie-rod ends, etc. One of the bolts that holds the driver’s front brake caliper fell out and that caused the suspicious noise. It might need brake pads in the rear passenger side down the road. Right now, you can probably drive this car anywhere.
