No sir. I checked and double checked. That is the vin on the car and the title. Is there anything else that you would like to know about it? I know that the car is a gray market car that wasn't marketed in the U.S. -John |

The euro vins dont have the letters at the front, and this is a euro spec car. my 6.9 is the same way with the short vin. to title my 6.9 i just added the wdb letters to the begining.

This car has a clear Texas title without the prefix. It just has the numbers.

um, forget about the vin issue.
honestly - and not to drive the price down, just want to know - it looks like the paint and the interior are pretty sunbaked. please, no offense intended, but am i seeing correctly in the pictures? are we thinking complete interior replacement and a new paint job? thx

Probably a good buffing with an S.O.S. pad
Some duct tape on the seats She'll be good as new. Really though, if you were to fix'er up. The seats would need re-upholstery or replacement from what I can tell. I haven't pulled the seat covers off of the front seats, but I assume that they're probably just as bad as the rear. To make it look purdy again, it's going to need fresh paint. I did discover that there are a couple of small 'cancer' spots on the rocker panels. They aren't too bad yet, but left in the current state, it could get bad. |

Well, I like it because its different! I have never even heard of a 350SE! AND I have never seen a S-Class Mercedes with manual windows! I know its a Euro car, but its neat to see such a different Benz... it has to be rare.
I hope it gets a good home... I would like to see someone restore that one! Good luck John! |

It could be rare, I don't rightly know. I know it's fast though, so fast the license plates are just a blur...

it interests me because its a short wheelbase, i think, with a nice small(er) block v-8, euro (meaning higher compression and performance?) less weight, a little better gas mileage, better handling. and its exempt in califortnia from smog. now if it only had a four speed, i would be down there right away, even if i had to hitchhike.
