I'm looking to sell my 1997 Mercedes-Benz E300, Navy Blue over Gray MB Tex, 129k miles. Got it in August 2007 with 122k miles. I've really enjoyed learning from this forum how to do repairs myself. I don't drive much and my wife and I are buying a house and I will be needing a pickup so I'm planning on replacing it with a Dodge Ram Cummins. I'd like to keep both but 3 cars total are not in the budget. Exterior is in nice shape with only minor dings and scratches. Interior very clean, with only minor cracks in dash near windshield. I have 2 sets of factory floor mats (carpet and rubber winter). Recent service items include power steering flush, oil change, new alternator, rear window regulator, engine air filter, fuel filters, a/c cabin filters, a/c sampler blower motor, engine dampening shock, serpentine belt and K40 relay. No body rust anywhere. I had spring perches inspected and they are rust free. The driver side view mirror glass is foggy and the remote key needs to be replaced (fell apart). SOLD... I really wish I could have sold this car to someone on this forum who might appreciate it. It was a really nice car. I can't believe no one had any interest in this car. I traded it for $6,200 (that's including about $400 in sales tax credit) on a new '08 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2wd-3.0L CRD Turbodiesel for $18,383 (MSRP-$38,315) plus sales tax. That is just under $20,000 back of MSRP for those of you who struggle with math. I really enjoyed learning from this forum. I'll keep looking everyday to see if I can learn anything about my new SUV...

Servicing it is going to be an issue. Chrysler/Jeep techs have no idea about how to service this truck. It will have to be done at a Benz dealer. My truck had been sitting on the dealer's lot for almost 18 months and had only 44 miles on it. Hope it sitting this much right after manufacture won't cause issues in the future...We'll see...
