Looking for a 280SE or 280SEL, 4.5L W108 chassis in California, Los Angeles area or surroundings.

What matters: NO rust, must be a runner (engine, brakes, tranny OK). Car needs to have clear title and written receipt from seller (required for export).
What doesn't matter that much: interior, exterior details, paintwork.

Preferrably sunroof and power windows but not required..

Could be driven to your area.

There is a 1972 280SEL 4.5 on eBay right now that could be what you are looking for. It's been soda blasted to bare metal and disassembled. There is no visible rust anywhere. Check it out. The guy is desperate to sell it.

Price is right...unbelievable if you ask me.
