I just bought a 2012 diesel Jetta. I cannot justify having 5 vehicles.

The good: 20 k miles on tires, new tie rods, new front rotors and pads , new rear pads. changed all fluids. All parts were bought here including MB fluides. PS was done also It has the europeon headlights. Does not use or leak but 1/2 qt. between 4,000 mi oil changes

Car had 271,000mi on it when I bought it & a clean carfax & alway dealer maintained until i bought it. It starts and runs perfect. It now has 292,000.
Never involved in any kind of accident
The bad: antena no work & broken, radio still works tho. GP issues ( have new temp sender not installed) and a few other crazy electrical problems'.
Clear coat peeling on hood,roof ,truk, some rust spots on roof, insert in middle of front bumper needs to be replaced. No AC, blower not working. Check my posts.

Original Trans just serviced. Head gasket? As far as I know the head has never been pulled.

Lets see:
I need the Jetta because of my new job which is a Lubrication Consultant for this company, Industrial Lubricants - Lubrication Equipment | Lubrication Engineers.

The 99 ford because it has an 8 foot bed, it's a diesel, has 355,000 mi on it. and only at the dealer 1x & I have had it since new.

The 06 Dmax because I set it up for towing and it has a short bed plus a range of 1275 mi with its auxilary in bed tank for a total of 75 gals.

The MB because If i have tro run to town it gets great mpg and it doesn't matter what I put in it since its not new. and gets 38mpg.

But best of all:
I need them because I don't have a wife telling me I don't need them

MB will be in TN next week if some one is interested. To valuble of a car to be hit by Issac. Pulled a trailer to haul it back from TN with DMAx. Will be travling thru Montgomery, Birmingham , Chattanoga, & Knoxville

Small world. I used LE for oils in my shop. Bought it drums at a time. Good stuff.

Car will be staying in Tn. I have been driving back & forth to town which is 17mi 1 way. Hogweed was right. The more I drive the more I am leaning towards keeping it.
