FOR SALE: 1993 - 300te - MD (southern) asking $1,500
Price somewhat negotiable, open to trades, willing to consider parting out if you plan to spend over $250 in parts. This could continue to be a driver, or it could be a "feature-rich" parts car! I have not brought myself to the conclusion that it should be parted, but the market must dictate. I do not have time to fix this car for at least 1-2 years. It should not sit that long.
Located at zip code 20636. 211-212k miles; not 4-matic (rear wheel drive); bought car in 2010 and spent over $750 on water pump, coolant reservoir, serpentine belt, tensioner, adjuster, front struts, window regulator, transmission mount and driveshaft dampener, brake pads, rotors, gaskets, etc (some parts not even on car yet). Good: Not a rusty car; New front struts; New front wheel bearings; New brake rotors, pads; New water pump; Good pirelli tires and wheels pretty good condition; Leather interior in excellent condition (has seat covers which kept seats nice); Upgraded JVC headunit with aux input; a/c works well; Bad: Reverse is out, needs the reverse rework done along with kickdown solenoid, etc (have trans mount and drive shaft dampener); sunroof inop; RH Rear window regulator broken (have new part); Leaking around timing chain cover area (have new gaskets); Viscous fan (noise @ startup); one scratch/gouge along LH rear door and fwd of LH rear wheel well; Front bumper (tow cover missing; minor touch up needed); need headlight surrounds/euro headlights; Driver's seat adjust controls work intermittently; Sunvisor clips broken; LH Tail light (see photo); Lift gate has one strut out (have new part). |

I obviously like it! GLWS! if you can confirm that the wiring harness has been replaced, or check behind the battery to see if it is crumbly when you roll it between your fingers, then I think all of the repairs are doable at your price. Does the aux fan cycle on and off as it should? My guess is for another grand in labor and parts, less if you wrench it yourself, someone is going to get a nice dependable ride that'll go another 100K! having A/C that works is a big plus!
