got one of two 95 E300's available for sale
I am in the process of adding a low mileage 99 E300 to the fleet and have got to get rid of something (I am up to 4).
One is silver with ~320k miles on it. The main issue with it right now is that it needs a new compressor/dryer. The evaporator was changed out about two years ago. Maintenance records are about an inch thick on the car and it has been on synthetic oil since I purchased it. The only leak is the power steering pump and I add a little every now and then. I maintained it for many years for the original owner until purchasing it from her at around 250k miles in 08. She had had the transmission rebuilt right before I bought it. The wife rear ended a Bronco a few years ago in it so the front hood and passenger side fender has been replaced. The radiator got replaced at the same time. The passenger side fender does not have the vent. The car runs down the interstate with no rattles all day long at 80 mph without missing a beat. Good, good driving car with a working cruise control The gold car looks a little rougher than the silver car but the a/c works good. It would not take much to make this a real nice car. It has never been wrecked but the paint is pretty tired. I purchased it at 167k miles in 2008 and it is now showing 272k miles. Issues with it are the front lower bumper cover needs to be replaced, the passenger side front seat needs some attention and the paint on the roof is pretty used up. Both cars had new headgaskets at around 250k miles with new guides and cam chains. Engine wiring harnesses have been replaced on both cars. There is NO rust on either car, anywhere. Let me know if there is any interest. One of them needs to move so let's deal. One of them is going to go cheap. I would drive either car across the country right now. Let me know if there is any interest in either one and I'll try to get pics up. One of them is going to go cheap.

Just shy of ten thousand posts and no pictures in your for sale ad? For shame!
Hell yes there is interest! Get those pictures up. Especially the gold one. Either one sunroof-less? |

I'll get the pics up over the next couple days. Both cars have sunroofs.

Hey Jim - a stupid question maybe, from a guy who's always wanted one and is envious that you have four... my only concern with switching to diesel is that i am afraid I won't drive it enough. Eight mile daily commute plus weekend trips is about all I do any more.
Can I ask how you've accumulated your miles? With silver, that's about 11K/yr and with gold about 17.5K/yr. Plus you've got two others... cross-country thunder runs? Runnin' licker up through the woods? Taxi service? Inquiring minds want to know...

I will do my best to get pics up this evening. I stay busy as all get out with job #1 and then typically get home in evening and hit the shop for job #2 till about 9 or so at night.
I will make a point to get pictures posted this afternoon or tonight with more details. The wife puts a lot of miles on em. We have another house in Savannah and she works down there during the week. Lot's of trips back and forth (90 miles each way). I think she is averaging around 30k miles a year on the 05 wagon these days. We have a perfect marriage. I am always glad to see her get home at the end of the week.
