Hello Gents,

I am a frequent poster in the Porsche Forum, and was suprised to see that all the forums weren't linked. Regardless, I have been a faithful Pelican customer for some years, but this is my first post into your forum. It also comes with bad news. Monday evening I hydroplaned and smashed into a wall at interstate speeds with my CL55 AMG. I truley loved this car, but due to an issue with my insurance underwriting....In litagation now.... It was not covered for its value. Hence why I am here.

I have for sell a 2003 CL55 AMG black with grey interior. Completely stock. Before the wreck it worked fine, no air suspenion issues. The only fault I'd ever get was an intermintant chime from the SRS system for a faulty sensor in the passengers seat. My airbag deployed just fine, and no passenger was present. The interior is a 7/10, no rips in the seats, basically just dated. The engine has 128k on it, and the heat exchanger, and raditior are toast.

To put it simple, the front clip is destroyed. The passenger fender is still useable, the hood, drivers fender, core support, bumper cover, and passenger headlight lens are broken, or bent, or mangled. Not pretty. The rest of the car fine. I believe the engine to be fine as well. I started it to pull off the tow truck and into my garage. The oil leaked from my broken heat exchanger lines, and etc.

With all that being said, I don't know whats fair for the car. I know I'm not willing to hunt down the parts to fix it, and I'd prefer to just sell it whole. I will part out if required. The car is located in Nashville,TN in my garage. I will start at an asking of 9k. I basically took half of market price since you'd basically be getting half a car. If thats not fair let me know, I will adjust if needed. I am also open to trades. I like alot different things, so your welcome to make an offer.

I will be frank, if you want me to part it out, a minimum of engine, tranny and componets will be the first required sell. After that nick knacks can be bought. I want 5k for the engine and tranny. Im willing to pull that out and use it myself for a CLK GTR clone if no one wants it.
