Selling my wife's 300SD. Car is in great condition was 2000.00 reduced it to 1300.00 in hopes of not dealing with anymore craigslist day dreamers. "You mean they don't get 40 MPG?" Ran home for the third time last night for a no show!!

Only problem I'm having is AC compressor starts out good blows cold air at idle but then starts slipping so either compressor is going or clutch is bad. System holds refrigerant and does not leak. Would get Down to 40* in Texas heat before problem developed.

I know you pain, I have had the same problem with the Craigslist crowd here with me trying to sell my '93 400SEL. I was even on my way to meet one of them and he texted me on my way there and said his ride didn't show, he couldn't meet me... was supposed to contact me today, never did.

I have had no interest on any of these MB sites. I am about to trade it in and get nothing for it. lol.

I figured it was just the price of diesel.....but 400sel isn't selling either.
Maybe I priced it low should have started at 5k ......gets 50 mpg on French fry oil lol.
Truth is its a great car just have to many on my insurance, and really need my trucks right now.

I hear you on trade it for nothing, about where I'm at.

The guy was a diesel technician, said he wanted it right after it started didn't even want to drive it.

I now find myself mourning the loss, like a friend told me once:
